Having somebody you can vent to about your problems is vital. As Abdullah says, ‘a problem shared is a problems halved.’ He adds that this can help you to get some perspective on your situation.

“Alcohol can interfere with neurotransmitters, which are chemicals that help relay messages between neurons in the brain, leading to changes in mood, behavior and thinking,” she [Sarah Boss] told Live Science.

Abdullah Boulad, the founder and managing director of The Balance therapy centres in London, London, Zurich and Mallorca, said: “The pandemic has negatively affected almost everyone in the world and is the biggest collective trauma since World War II.

Burnout started to be used regarding an overload of work. Essentially, feeling so stressed over a long period of time that chronic syndromes emerge, along with many symptoms that change from person to person. Workplace burnout is the type that is often studied and researched where people have too much pressure, don’t get any reward at work, or they’re in highly demanding or boring jobs. – Says Dr. Sarah Boss

“People are using it as a productivity strategy to finish their tasks on time and be more efficient. It helps them to conserve their energy for jobs that matter more, as the body double helps them to stay focused on the task at hand and avoid potential distractions,” says Marta De la Cruz, a clinical psychologist at Balance Luxury Rehab.

“When someone is depressed they may feel as though they are a thousand miles away,” he [Abdullah] says. “They often hold back from intimate touching, kissing cuddling or sex.”
